About Lisa
Lisa began her career as a multi-skilled performing artist at the age of 18 when she left for the stages of Europe. She danced with the Gelsenkirchen Opera Ballet for three years and landed her first singing role as Mousy in the musical Cabaret in Germany. Lisa's versatility has seen her travel and perform her way around the globe from Japan to Iceland; her most recent engagement being as soprano soloist on the luxury German cruise liner, Arosa, in 2004. The nightly crowds of 900 audience members saw her sing in various styles from classical to jazz and pop.
Lisa's skills go far beyond the world of performing. Her desire for excellence and personal growth have seen her diversify into the corporate world, teaching and counselling. In 1997 she achieved runner-up in the National Executive Woman of the Year Awards (culture, performance and the arts) and went on to lecture at Central Queensland University's Conservatorium of Music in music theatre.Despite over 20 years of professional success, she is most proud of her role as a wife and mother. As your celebrant, Lisa is able to draw on a vast range of life experiences and a skill set that is as unique and distinctive as your service will be.
Lisa has now settled on the Gold Coast and is a trained telephone counsellor. Her style is friendly, personable, calm and genuine. No matter what kind of ceremony you require, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable with your celebrant.
